Premium Wine Country Ride
This ride explores a landscape of seasonal colour where grapes thrive in gravel clay soils. Cyclists will learn how this landscape has inspired our artists and wine-makers and discover a selection of Nelson wineries, from the small and homely to the architecturally sophisticated. You will taste the best of the regions’ aromatic wine varieties and savour a vineyard lunch platter of local artisan products, while enjoying views from the mountains to the sea. View some of the best contemporary art in a tiny vineyard gallery and visit a family-owned cottage museum to hear stories of early settlement. Later, explore the charming village with it’s pantry store and village pub, then sit down and relax with a glass of wine on a sunny vineyard veranda to finish your day

Premium Beer Country Ride
This ride is based in the heart of the Moutere districts’ heritage hop-growing region. Hop gardens and hop kilns add a unique character to this treasured landscape, which is now home to many artists and artisan food producers. While cycling, we will stop along the way to hear the stories of the area and enjoy roadside views of historic kilns, Victorian farmhouses and rambling gardens. You can walk among the vines of a private hop garden and see how hops are dried in a working hop kiln. Come with us and meet the locals and savour local craft beers in NZ’s oldest pub while enjoying a tasting lunch platter. Explore the peaceful village, with its’ historic churchyard and country store, visit a craft studio and relax under oak trees planted by German settlers 150 years ago. The day includes a tour and tasting at a family-owned brewery
