Our bikes are Giant Comfort bikes with comfortable seats, drink bottle holders and a light box on the back for carrying your picnic or any bottles of wine you might purchase en route. The bikes have 7 gears which are a breeze to change (no complicated levers, just one dial on the handgrips) so even the least experienced cyclist will enjoy the ride. They are very suited to our gentle routes. We have womens and mens bikes in a range of sizes to suit differing heights. Bikes are equipped with pumps and spare inner-tubes and we will show you how to change the inner-tube in the unlikely event that you get a puncture. Bikes have chain guards to keep your clothing away from the chain and also have maps hanging from the handlebars making it easy to read en route. And when you stop, simply put the bike on its stand, lock it up with the bike lock and it will be secure until you return. Helmets are compulsory for cyclists in New Zealand, so we supply helmets for all our bikes.
