Mapua and Moutere Shuttle

Great Taste Trail Shuttle Services to and from Mapua and Moutere

Our Mapua and Moutere shuttle services will provide quick and easy access to both of these iconic areas on and around the Great Taste Trail.

Mapua is right on the Great Taste Trail, less than 30km from Nelson. The pretty Wharfside village has a rich history and has been modernized to provide many great culinary options by the coast. A wine bar, microbrewery and various arty places offer something for everybody to enjoy.

For those cyclists happy to cycle 50km or more (in total), it is well worth continuing inland from Mapua into the Upper Moutere – the Tuscany of New Zealand. An historic area, settled by pioneers 180 years ago. Many of the original families persist here and offer some of the finest wining, dining and artisanal opportunities in the region.

We’ll provide you with a map highlighting the tastiest places to visit, enabling you to explore this glorious area on two wheels (ours or yours). We’ll arrange a time and place to rendezvous in Mapua / Upper Moutere and return you to your accommodation after you’ve enjoyed the delights of the region.
